When your in the heat of things, taking a shower just kinda ruins the mood. Also alot of people get turn on by the smell of others. I personally prefer the smell of sweat on a man than any soap or cologne. If you are taking showers daily you should be fine unless you have been horny earlier or you took a nasty poo. With that situation a wet wipe should do the trick. Also I would prefer to shower after than before both seems kinda over kill to me. Though some people like to feel really clean so nothing wrong with showering before or after. Just be prepared to start flirting or turn each other on again. Cuz for us girls (assuming you are female) it very important for us to be turned on unless it would prob hurt. If you get into a relationship taking showers before sex doesn't matter either way because you guys should already know your sex habits.
Also to add on l, when doing oral you should definitely shower first, that's just common courtesy. But some are into all those...umm.... juices lol.

Personally, the only thing that that for me needs to be cleaned thoroughly in advance is the butthole, for obvious reasons. For body odour, sweat etc I actually like my partner's a lot... But I mean, everyone has their kinks so you gotta find what you like. I know from experience, and from stories
by friends, that the odours of the people you love are generally good, go look on the internet, you may find some interesting scientific explanations as to why our brain reacts to loved ones smells
do people really not care about being "dirty" before sex? like even if you shower daily, you'll still have bathroom needs, sweat etc. theres no way it wont smell at least a little down there lol, does it not matter because its just the bottom half of the bodies interacting and not always the mouth and the bottom? or do people just get so in the mood they just ignore any smell haha
