It was very slow actually but sudden. She was like ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~ and then (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ im going to be an adult from now on

I think she had always known she had to grow up but was delaying it so that she could still be daddy's daughter. However now that daddy isn't here, she decided to shed the child image she tried to cling onto that provided her the most warmth and happiness that she knew in order to protect her family.
It wasn't a sudden change, Estelle always knew what it took to grow up. She just probably didn't want to because she loved her family and how things were.
I feel like a proud mother watching her grow up so quickly .
