Hmm was it in the noble? I remember there was this dude who Athy met while traveling, he is Ezekiel's classmate. Magic doesn't work with him because he have a necklace that make magic useless to him, he calls athy fairy because of her eyes but fell in love with Jeannette. He knows Jeannette have jewel eyes coz of the necklace and that makes his love authentic too. The guy was super strong like one of the earnst sons and really loud too... I could be wrong but that could be interesting

youre right! but dosent the earnst brother fall for athy but he loses his necklace and jeanettes black magic takes a toll on him so he fell for her until he got his necklace back and realizes that he followed jeanette like a dog

The translations i had read takes a lot of braincells to understand lol, that explains it though because I always wonder How Lucas defeated him with pure magic if he had the necklace... The novel shows how dangerous Jeannette's magic is... I remember how Athy have to constantly cleanse everyone from Jeannette's dark magic.
