She does know who she is but shes scared to reveal her position because of the prince which she thinks whos going to kill her but he really isnt planning to. He isn’t at all aware of the amazing things shes done except from the piano playing. And I’m assuming hes interested into Marie because she’s just not your average maid haha
He does t know who he is, but he is interested in her skills. He thinks she’s very capable, I think u should reread it’ll make more sense, but since she’s very talented and kinda hid her talent the emperor wanted to know who had done the previous things she did, like finishing the statute(he doesn’t know it was her), finishing that piano piece, finding out who was playing the piano, solving the case of fire etc.
