I just don't understand how it is so popular. Now Tale of the Yellow Dragon I get, but this.....nope.

It's called being in love. And for me it's not dragging. It has a pretty good phasing of character development. They didn't rush any character in to becoming someone in a snap of a finger. Ofc it's no comparable to Yellow Dragon because that story has a lot of happenings all at once. This story took it's time to tackle each and every topic.
