True, but there has to be weakness some where, otherwise she wouldn't need those villagers or the MC.
I have to wonder, if she doesn't have any of the weaknesses that come with either race, AND she can turn into a human girl, why does she need our MC to talk her about his travels? Why would you waste magic on making other people your puppets for a reason like that? Something tells me that she actually has a weakness, like she can't travel far from the village or something.
