preach!!! i completely agree, when there is someone in a story i hate it's hard for any amount of backstory to make me feel empathy for them. like yh maybe they had it rough but in no way does that excuse their actions especially if what they did was nonredeemable.
Lol one thing that I hate about flashbacks is the fact that they sometimes show the past of someone that doesn’t deserve any sympathy. Am I meant to feel bad or think that he had a reason to behave that way? Nah boo.
