i've read it all, and still didn't find the answer, about his sis and if he changed his work place.
He changed workplace, it was said in another manga. He worked in the old one for 5 years I think and then shifted to where he met Shuuna. No news for his sis tho.

He said he changed his workplace. It was on the news for being a bad company to work for. In Azami, you see that at his workplace he is getting abused. It starts with being constantly yelled at, tea being poured on his head, being hit numerous times, and then sexual harassment. He was forced to undress in front of his boss because otherwise he’d lose his job, and he had to financially support his sister so he felt like he had no other options. Now, that’s just what we’ve seen. After all that, he kept working there, just imagine what else he went through in those 5 years. This was an everyday thing for him. The pressure from work and supporting his sister through college gave him trauma, so he changed from being cheerful to abusive.
Does this excuse his abusive behavior? No. Yumi did not deserve that treatment. But at the same time, you can see where kan’s fight or flight kicks in. It is sad that Kan did that to Yumi, they both have scars that will never heal. But, now they can move on.

also i think kan said it here but he said that he hit yumi because it made him feel better the first time (he said this) he then kept taking out his frustrations on yumi since it worked that time but it made him feel worse there’s more to it but that’s basically a short summary of what he said
well i know that hayashida was having a bad days at his work and being bully, but if the author just explain why he was so abusive towards yumi if he liked him then why he would hurt him !?
hayashida bear alot for his sister sake, so i wonder did she get into university ?
i don't know if i am missing a page or not cuz the author should atleast show to us that his sister in a good place now. he didn't bear the hell for nothing .
i hope the author too show to us if hayashdia change his old work place? cause now he seem in a better company, but is it the same old one or new ?
i've read few manga with missing pages, so i wonder am i missing those things or the author still didn't explain these points
