First I totally agree and am also fucking angry at her "Family"(╯°Д °)╯╧╧. I think the reason is, she is living in his house, his domain. Even if she were his actual daughter, if were to order the servants to keep her in her room or not giving her food etc. She wouldn't be able to win against him. What she needs is a strong motherfin ally to protect her or the determination to run away.
