I agree.. he did just say he was 18 and just a brat who tried to show off so I think that is a good realization, explanation and understandable. sad tho.. He was a jerk then, I think he liked being liked.. But he paid for it. They both did :/ But I didn't like when he countered her in the present that she " didn't ask".. that's lame.. It's like saying I'm treating you poorly, if you wanna know why you have to ask.
Yeah, his “You didn’t ask” had me face-palming myself. It’s almost like he invalidated her reasons to worry. But I’m glad he’s more honest about his feelings now. I hope he doesn’t mess up this time. Sighs.
I’m still salty af that he never once said “I love you” back to her even though she practically handed him her heart. Had he been more honest with her, AS A BOYFRIEND SHOULD, none of this shit would have dragged for 10 years. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
