Tbh honest same, I wouldn't say creepy personaly, but like a few times the way he was looking at him was like ??? kinda eww, props to the author for being able to make us feel like that! I think they wanted to point the fact that the kid was indeed a minor, so yeah! I thought it was cute too, just a few times were kinda uncomfortable lol

Considering that the “kid” is a 20 yr-old adult, I fail to find the “creepiness” that some of the other commenters are talking about. Like you, I find it cute and fluffy and sweet. The seme is so smitten. I think they will make a cute couple.

Apparently he is 17 (I suppose we don't have a very precise age but he might be a 3rd year in high school) and the guy is 30 something, at first I didn't care much about the way he looked at him tho i did find it very weird, the character himslef keeps on repeating "he is just a kid" as if to remind himself that the guy is a minor
After thinking about it, it feels like the author wants to highlight the fact that there is a minor and an older man here, idk, but personally, there were like 2 times i felt like "why the hell is he looking at him like that" the rest was cute tho. I also think they will be very cute together, i just hope he will wait until he is of legal age to start anything more than kisses~

Actually, he can. Asian people in general calculate age in a different way to Western countries. A baby is one year at birth, and then gains another year at the new year, so it means you can have up to two years in difference to the Western age.
So for us he may be 18-19, but in Japan he actually is 20.

This! And also, in Japan, calling someone a minor usually means they're under 20, not under 18. The age of consent is generally 18 in most places in Japan, though.
