You have no idea what I would say, actually, because you're not me. All I really ask for is someone to respect my opinions, and there are still things that I said that still stand and no one has commented on, as well as things I haven't said. I never said Taku was a saint. I said that based on what has happened so far in the manga, Taku seems like the better romantic option compared to Joowon. And I still believe that is true, because it's my opinion. I still feel like I'm being patronized for having that opinion. I guess that's just your way of speaking to fellow readers who have differing opinions from you.
I think what I think of Taku and Joowon right now, and I, along with every other person who likes Taku that you've responded to with that same statement, are ALLOWED to change their opinion, because no one knows what will happen next. There is absolutely no hypocrisy in that. You are totally rude for scoffing at other people who have different opinions than you about a fictional story, and trying very obviously to make enemies. I'd really appreciate it if you'd stop.
Thank you! No further comments.
I seriously cannot believe that thid manga actually sparked such a big debate over which character is better, Joowon or Taku. While I'm here, I'm gonna give my two cents:
I think Taku is the better romantic partner. While he did lie to Haesoo, he's lied only once, and has been very protective over him while also keeping his cool. Aside from that, he always tried to console his past partner(s) but was always told that he was being insincere. Those are the only faults I can really see - he has been good and comforting to Haesoo, and he had always kept his distance from his models, but he took a special liking to Haesoo, so he acted on his feelings.
Joowon on the other hand... he told Haesoo to not have feelings for him, whilst throwing a jealous fit every time Haesoo didn't want to talk about his sexual partners. (It was never even his business anyway.) Joowon kept Haesoo in a mental state that didn't allow him to have emotional connections with his other partners, leading to further toxic relationships with other people (as this new protagonist is showing). He even got mad that his ex found out he was cheating on him, and HE dumped his partner... yikes. Joowon also leaves Haesoo and comes back all the time because of his job, but never acts like it's such a big deal. Then, oooo, all the sudden, Joowon is upset because Haesoo wants to finally move on.
HOWEVER... Joowon, in my opinion, is the better character because of his more in-depth storyline thus far. I think that might be the only reason why some people like him over Taku - attachment to character. I would love to see more about Taku in the coming chapters and learn his past so I could compare him with Joowon a little better.
Thanks for reading ! <3
