I know how you feel, I began reading Zankoku like 3 years ago and I just finished it. This series really hits ya, but its worth finishing.
It took me a year to finish, definitely a masterpiece. Wish I could read her other works besides the ones posted here.

It really breaks my heart and messes with my head it was an emotionally train for me and I still am to much of a wimp to finish it
