You're not entirely wrong but you're talking about queen in different continent. As far as I'm concerned, queens in Asia especially in a conservative country like Korea can't have lovers. Even if FL wants to have a relationship with Baek Han, she can't just be blatantly obvious since you know, women were not given that much rights to do anything in the old days.

I'm just stating something realistically aight? No need to go ballistic on me. Okay so considering the era they lived in, I don't think she is going to end up with Baek Han because
1. Baek Han just didn't have that quality as a king. I mean, sure he's kind but does he fully understand how to run a country tho?
2. Hypothetically speaking, she choose Baek Han, then what? She's gonna throw away her position to be with him and live happily ever after? Uh, no. That's not how it works. If she abandoned the throne, I'm pretty sure she will be executed.
3. Her relationship with Baek Han is just master and servant and it would be considered immoral for them to fall in love. Yes I know it's ridiculous, they're not doing anything wrong. But that's not how people perceive it because of their different social standing.
4. Dowun and other high ranking official including his father will not let them to be together. Absolutely.
5. Okay, you are gonna argue with "but her bitchy sister escaped punishment so why couldn't she do that too and run away with Baek Han? " First of all, bitch received help from powerful people (ie : Dowun's father and brother) but who's gonna help their romantic escapade tho?
Anyway, don't get me wrong. It's not like I hate/dislike Baek Han. I love him as a character but I don't think he's suitable for her given the circumstances. I rest my case here. Thoughts?
