I was thinking about that too!, but wouldn't it be a little extreme to lie to the audience like that? either way, i'd really celebrate it if haesoo chose neither of them and it turns out that the author just fooled us. But idk, it just drives me insane to imagine him picking someone. nothing feels right between all these characters

it's all very wishy washy. to me it just seems like haesoo is done with all of them and doesn't want to make a decision

Hmm I don't think they lied. They just revealed that information to calm people who started to get annoyed that there won't be any couple (and started to lose interest because of that) and let's be real not big percent of readers is mature enough to appreciate the ending where there is no pair.
Still I can't imagine how author will close all the threads and give satisfying ending to all of them.

And yeah I agree that the majority wouldn't be too happy with an ending where Haesoo stays single

But I think there will be main couple. Maybe I worded it badly. I believe author didn't lie about that part. And they spoilered us because some fans were impatient and started to lose interest because they were afraid Haesoo will be alone at the end of the story.
