Their childhood story is really cute and touching but the part when Angela bends down and starts crying over how the young Rayburn would not accept her if he knew she was a slave really hit me... (/TДT)/
Imagine pretending to be the crown princess and realising your childhood friend is the crown prince himself? She must have been embarrased for lying to him and having her background discovered, so she ran away.
And the part where the young Rayburn stretches his hand to young Angela to help her hide because she has bloody feet from all that running? That part was so emotional to me, it really gave an impact to this chapter. Let me just sob in a corner ┗( T﹏T )┛
