I know right? At first I was concerned about it and now I know it's justified since it was an abusive relationship. They did cut his finger, and I don't think that is good thing. I mean Suyeong must be angry and afraid of hyung but by him letting the boss do that feels like abandoning the hyung and all they been through. Suyeong actually like the affection that the hyung show (refer to chapter 2) but since the hyungs father discovered their relationship Suyeong one sidedly decided to push away the hyung without telling him the reason.
When i thought he was going to cut off his fingers, i was worried 'cause he's a boxer n all. Then they showed the flashback. Now i get why uke chan was soo adamant in refusing his help. The mf is bat shit crazy and would've bound uke to him forever. They really had us in the first half ngl.
