I don't think he was the real murderer but i think that he picked up that habit.And since,Alex swallowed the ring from Clark...I kind of suspected that he had swallowed the finger too?
So i feel the finger that Clark had was Alex's.Because if he knew that it was a matter of time before Doc was going to die and if doc did matter so much to him he should have reported Alex to police long ago.

After Clark asked the inspector if he is in love with him and then the latter said no, Clark responded that he's grateful its a no.
Then, I asked my self why would Clark think so, then I remembered the serial killer only kills those whom he is romantically involved with.
Then at the end he had the ring finger with him, but the story did not disclose that Alex, which should be the supposed murderer, told him where he kept the finger.
So in short I have this thought that Clark is the real murderer until the end. Lols, I went to check here in the comment section if anyone would think the same hahahaha but I guess Im wrong??.. but if Clark really turns out to be the real culprit OMGee that would be a major twisted story hahaha.
