I actually think the other guy is going to be the real main love interest. All this time the owner is watching this straight guy....but this other guy stayed even later because he likes the owner. He also showed up first and was trying to wish him a happy anniversary before seeing he was crying. I think ultimately the first crush (straight guy) is a red herring.
I thought about that too, but he doesn't have enough screen time. Though he is pretty nice. I would say we get the rescue thing when the mc gets assaulted or something.
It’s only been two chapters. I feel like the author is really setting us up. Because there’s the whole oh no he has a gf...wait it was his sister! But he probably really does have a gf, that just wasn’t her. He just seems too straight and uninterested in the owner....but we’ll see
