and honestly I do like the FL... and the ML is cool.... but....
the way the ML goes about it is quite problematic... its a very common theme in Chineses comics... or maybe the Chinese people just don't feel that its problematic...
anyways,
the ML is basically going to force the FL to marry him (or get killed). She is kind of bind to him, without her knowing it. The heavens badically sigh their marriage contract... though I guess the ML kind of have her best interests in mind? maybe? (the ML is the painter dude/ginseng baby/holy emperor, if you havent figured it out). The FL is just constantly have guys forcing marriage on her, at least two guys, the prince and body guard respect her no thanks, still try their best to persuade her, but haven't force her. The other two, that red demon guy and the ML pretty much doesnt give a shit about her refusal. The ML also didnt want her as his wife, but only a mistress (he seems to have a reason to not take an official wife, but I didnt get to that part). He purposely isolated her from all possible normal marriage candidates, and actively tries to get rid of his rivals.
Apparently, the novel this is base on has like over 3000 chapters or something, so not sure where this is going to go.
While its kinda boring watching a FL who is super OP and Genius IQ that can breeze through all her trails...
It is also kind of annoying to watch how helpless the FL is (not really her fault). As she basically have to run from the ML.. only to be caught by the red demon dude, and probably need the ML to rescue her since they are so much stronger than her...

Are you sure it was him that did it, he's so possessive & jealous of her that I don't think he'd want her to forget him. He acts like she just doesn't recognize him as an adult, like he doesn't know she forgot about him as deity-9.
Maybe it was the emperor leader or the red demon, she has alot of jealous admirers.

The reason is because he needs to keep the diety nine side of him a secret. No one is suppose to know about that side of him, so of course he made them forget.
He has the power to wipe one’s memory and even replace it with somerhing else. He used it again a bit later on the kirin jokingly, when the Kirin was searching through different boats with rooms to find the FL that has gone missing, ran into a room and accidently saw two people having sex. The kirin ask him what the two people are doing, cause the girl was scream for the guy to stop, but the guy was holding her hand captive and ripping off her clothes. The ML made the kirin forget what he sees and instead make him remember it as people having fun eating a big meal. It was kind of drawn in a joking way, but I think the way the Kirin explain it the scenewas a lot like a scene that happened before where the ML did something similar to the FL (though it didnt got very far). So the ML either didnt want to be reminded of how he did something similar,or he didnt want to explain to the Kirin the concept of rape and sex ┑(￣Д ￣)┍. Probably both.
Our FL has many male suitors, but there is only 1 ML who she will end up with. Its pretty obvious at this point in the story that the ML is the Emperor Leader (aka Deity-9, aka the painter/fortune telling guy that i cant remeber the name of right now)
Deity-9 & the emperor leader are two different people, when the ginseng baby was at the 9th peak, the emperor leader was back at the palace. And this sounds more like your guessing or wishful thinking, she could wind up alone like her fortune says.Lmao

later on, she would mention the emperor in his presence, and he gets real happy internally when she talk about how powerful he is...
Also they are definitely ending up together. He pretty much make her agreed to marry him, and the moment she said yes, a lighting flash by, meaning their marriage was confirmed by the gods. When other males try to get intimate with her, they will get bounce bck by lightning
i think that the emperor might have split himself off? or maybe that palace scene is a flash back? I don’t remember the scene exactly...
Yeah I already heard someone say the body double thing way back when deity-9 & her 1st met.Than someone who read the novel & left the link already proving they're two separate people. And since we're both guessing I say she might chose the Sylvester Stallone looking guy that she's already attracted too.
I actually like this, I was expecting something worse but although the romance hasn't shown up that much yet it is still very interesting to read. Any spoilers?
