When you go abroad you usually have to use a different SIM card and a different number. No calls will go through in most cases. It depends on the country. In some cases, you have to use a calling card to call abroad. That's what my family had to do when we go abroad for me than a week. Then when you return you switch back. It's a process and you can miss a lot! lol
