Im gonna spoil their highschool past.
Ok, so ML already suspected FL is the girl in his high school (Yoon Da Eun). He kept doing things from the past to her to give her the hints that he knew it was her. I’m not sure why she changed her name from Yoon Da Eun to Jung Eunjae but her family name changed cuz her mom married again.
The ML caught FL tried to confess to his friend Geonwook who the FL mistook as the guy who gave her umbrella when she lost the stray cat. She mistook it cuz she saw the basketball jersey ML had with him that day wasnt his but Geonwook’s. He tore ML’s jersey by accident and as a compensation he lent ML his own jersey, on that fated day.
When ML caught FL inside the locker hiding from whoever came to the room, FL was hiding inside his locker thats how ML found her, he found out FL’s love letter to his friend. He said something like “u do know Geonwook is already dating your friend Jisu right?” And the FL said she knew thats why she came back to the room to take it back from Geonwoo’s locker. Cuz she just found out after she put the letter inside his locker.
Suddenly Geonwoo entered the room and things got awkward for ML and FL, he asked what are they doing and why FL is here, to help the situation ML said FL is confessing to him. At the end, the ML kept the love letter with him, and FL wanted him to promise her he would never expose the letter to anyone if they ‘pretend’ to be a couple.
They were doing good until one day a huge misunderstanding happened. One of ML friends entered his room and saw the love letter, he stole the letter and sent them to Jisu. Jisu was so enraged and the whole class knew about it. As a result, FL is shunned by the class, as a person who tries to confess to her friend’s boyfriend. She tried to explain herself but Jisu just ignored her. FL felt betrayed by ML, why did he do this to her. Why Jisu had the letter. He promised he would keep the letter.
During that period her mom wanted to marry again and move out. FL’s school days were getting unbearable for her, sometimes she didnt want to come to school. Her mom understood and not long after they changed the school. When she aas about move out she tried to call the ML and even left a voice message, but he left his phone in his bedroom and his friends saw it. ML never found out that she tried to reach him.
ML found out late, Jisu told him that she already transferred to another school. ML was soo sad cuz he didnt know, he came to her house and bang the door shouting her name but it was too late. After Jisu told him the story of why she got transferred, ML was so shocked cuz he always kept her letter in his bedroom so who found out and stole it?! At first he suspected his friend Seohyun, but it wasnt her but the other male friend of his. ML told Jisu the truth and that she didnt know the two of them already dating. And it wasnt him who send her FL’s love letter. After hearing ML explanation, Jisu was not only angry but also sad and regret.
The ML spent 10 years wondering where is FL and that he wanted to apologise to her. While the FL spent 10 years to move on , forget the past become the new person Jung Eunjae, but she still held that misunderstanding unknowingly.
2nd spoiler
On a drunk night, FL was drunk and yelling to ML things like “Youre a bad person!!“ and “you already promised!!”. It’s like she exposed herself. ML knew , but he also knew that FL didnt want to admit she is Yoon Daeun.
A few days later ML told her that he knew who she was but FL insisted that she is not Yoon Da Eun and dont call her that.” She even yelled at him. ML said ok, he understood.
Not long after that ML stopped pestering FL about it. FL felt relief, but u know when that happens, feelings change like in typical shoujo manga LOL. During a dining out with their workmates, FL offered them to buy some drinks outside, but ML also offered to go with her. They went outside together, they talked a little bit and FL decided to admit that she is Yoon Daeun. And they talked about it.
Ok fast forward,after they cleared up their misunderstanding, even the things about the person who gave her umbrella, FL told him that he wasnt her first love, even though the person was him not Geonwoo, ML said “I know. But you are my first love.”
The truth is ML was always been checking on her, following her and his gaze was always at her during their school days. She was his first love.

Understandable. The story is cute though.... I feel bad for the ML cuz he was upset that it was supposed to be him that she fell in love with, not his friend, and he loved her.
i checked the raws and i'm disappointed i couldn't find any kiss scenes :(
Do they get together
Lol yes theres no kiss scene but they got together in chapter 51-52. Just a small spoiler:
They kept their dating secret in the office. One day a girl in their office trying to flirt with ML. FL saw them and she was upset about it. Later after ML approach FL to talk with her, suddenly the girl came and asked ML to take her somewhere (sorry im not sure exactly cuz of my limited korean), FL was silent and ML saw her back emitting some anger aura lol, he told the girl that him and eunjae cant move separately cuz theyre sharing a car or something im not sure, the girl was like “eunjae plz for this time let me go with team leader. You can go back with taxi i will pay for it.” And whispered to FL “plz help me” LMAO. FL snapped and she told the girl “sorry. That cant do. We already have appointment.” And the girl was like oh sorry, then left. Lol! ML was like “do we really have appointment?” XD
Oh and one more, during their school days, ML actually bought FL a ring. But he couldnt give it to her cuz she already transferred to another school. He found the ring in a box that was found by his dog, he saw the ring and hand it on a wind chime. Fast forward after theyre dating, FL in his home, Geonwook also there. She saw the ring and geonwook told her about the story. She was like :O and took the ring and wore it. Later she fell asleep in the sofa and ML saw her wearing the ring. That was so cute.
