I believe many people have misunderstood Hangyum and his actions. Or I am viewing it wrong. To me Hangyum is in a weak state of mind waiting on Hajin. He probably thinks Hajin is going to tell him he is never going to see him again. (Chapter 19, chapter 35). Hangyum has thought Hajin has hated him over 5 years. (Chapter 40) So it is more than Hangyum thinking Hajin is cheating. It is Hangyum is thinking Hajin chose to be with Jaehee after learning the truth about Hangyum. To me, Hangyum is acting like he is being completely rejected. And I don’t think it had anything to do with the pictures. Oh. Hangyum dialogue was changed in the tapas version in chapter 43. The victim card was never said and they had Hangyum come out cruel, I know you have only read the Tapas. But I am coming to you with the Korean and fan translations. You see the fan translations do have a few more chapters done but they have not post them yet. They have a few reasons.
hangyum is a total puppy seme...he left high school bc he overheard Hajin say he wished he'd do that. Hajin didn't mean it, he was in love with him and thought it was mutual until he confessed to some girl--but Hangnyum only did that so they could be seen as straight by their classmates.I don't think Hangym realizes why Hajin was mad with him back then. Maybe he assumed Hajin wasn't gay? And when he reunited with him and learned he was gay he found his chance to get with him.
So fast forward.. Hajin now knows Hangnyum was the one he was with in high school and not his twin He was pissed about the lie and he asked for space--he did not outright break up with him... Then he goes out drinking and gets framed for sleeping with his ex.
I did not realize Hangnyum knew Jaehee/the photographer was an ex of Hajin's until that conversation with Haean and I'm not sure why he would automatically think he would be a better man for Hajin when he is dating the group's manager... Are you saying he dumped Hajin before Hajin could dump him bc Hajin found someone else?
I think he dumped him for the same reasons he quit high school in korea, he wanted to help Hajin save face and not be seen as gay--he didn't want him to be caught up in a media scandal and he's using the pretense that Hajin cheated to break up.
You are correct in most things. He did not transfer schools to help Hajin save face, he leave thinking it was want Hajin wanted as you said. Yes Hangyum learned that Jaehee was in ex by Haeun. Hangyum had no idea. I am saying Hangyum is in a weak state of mind and believed Jaehee. Jaehee broke them up. Hangyum thinks it is over in chapter 42.
Spoiler.... chapter 45 Hajin will call Jaehee and Jaehee will admit to getting rid of him. I don’t think the pictures are the reason or even part of the cause. However the reasons on Lee Han’s Side has not been said yet. Chapter 47 was released today and Hangyum is definitely a puppy seme. Lol. But they still have not talked or fixed anything yet.
Hajin gets mad at Hagnyum for lying about going to the same high school andseemingly leading Hajin on as a love interest back then. (Hagnyum said it was his twin that did all that)
Hajin's sister (Haean) saw him out drinking with his ex...she called him to cuss him out but called hagnyum by accident. Hagnyum goes to Hajin's apartment but thinks Hajin cheated on him, so he fired him...tbh I thought he'd still feel guilty enuf for lying to Hajin that he'd let it go, but noooo. He probably also broke up because Sohyun told him an anonymous, blackmailing photographer had pics showing Hajin was Hagnum's bf (which he is but they don't want a scandal). Hajin's ex (Jaehee)has got to be the anonymous photographer. And Hajin could figure out when the pics were taken by the clothes in the pic.
Now Hajin's sis is at a restaurant dining with Hajin's best friend and she sees Hajin's ex with Sohyun. (Sohyun is the idol group's manager, she hired Hajin's ex to be the group photographer but he is her bf too.) Hajin's sis followed Sohyun to the ladies room and spilled all the beans. ( Prob smt like your boyfriend did my bro wrong back in the day and is trying to get back with him while still dating Sohyun). Hajin's sister made a quick exit out of the bathroom while Sohyun collects herself. (Now I'm sipping tea to see how the drama unfolded at the restaurant.)
This chapter ends as Haji is about to find out everything his sis has been up to...
What else? Hagnyum's twin is in love with Sohyun and wants to date her again but nothing is happening there yet.
