Remember how he used to be a peasant? His village is completely destroyed by a white haired woman then he became an orphan. Got bullied days and nights until he was adopted by a noble.
For once it's not "ml has dark tragic past + some op thing at their disposal that makes them cool as heck" it's our fl who is cool and smart with the tragic backstory. I love her so much, she's brilliant and I totally understand why ml is in love.
