Frankly I never liked Mafuyu that much even though he is kinda like MC. It always feels like he is with Ue to replace yuki and fill his void and not bcuz he really likes him.
(Maybe that's just my opinion)

Yes! this. especially since Mafuyu doesn't realize that what Ue is doing is for him. He can compare the situation to Yuki, but Yuki never knew that Mafuyu wanted to be involved whereas Ue is trying to help with closure and involved him directly in the band with Aki and Haru

I even stopped reading at some point bc i cant handle it, i'd rather read this series when its over where ue gets the attention and love he deserves
Tbh the burden that Ue is feeling right now is so much more than the three of them.

Like I know they’re all hurting because they lost their friend but Ue is being constantly compared to someone he never even knew and if he had refused to complete yuki’s song he would’ve thought of himself inferior to yuki in mafuyu's eyes. Also I don’t hate mafuyu I love him but if he continues to keep his feelings inside and not talk to Ue soon they’re really going to fall apart.
