iirc this actually happens later down the road (and I mean much much later).
Asher will still be sending gifts to both sister's to keep up appearances (w/ Aria getting the more lavish gifts). I think there's even a point where Mielle stops receiving gifts and/or is told that she's not getting anymore but my memory of the ending of the novel is hazy lol
Man I know it's unreasonable but I really wish they could've humiliated Mielle by announcing that they were sent to the wrong person and that it was Aria receiving them ╥﹏╥
