The reason of Sid betraying Cain is revealed in the upcoming chapters.
I think Cain suspected Sid is because of his staff's report of a traitor and Cain's staff do have huge doubts of Sid
Wasn't it because he thought Cain had grown weaker? and demons naturally only want to follow the strong or to become the boss themselves? also often known for betrayal.
so we know that Sid wants to kill off Cain, but was it ever explained why? and also, wasn't Cain suspicious of Sid in some past chapters, like when he gave him the compass? I'm trying to get answers bc people here clearly remember and understood the plot better than me lol
