he's speaking with like a country accent, i'm native english speaker and i need to read it slowly or read it twice to understand what he's saying.
I hope this character does not have a big part, otherwise, I might have to drop this one...
he doesn't really have a big part, most of it is just filler or for comedic purposes.
The author is actually trying to make him sound as if he's talking with a Kansai accent since they most speak this way, specially older generations; but I personally think she's overdoing it too much. Don't mind it, as long as you understand the flow with the main characters that's what matters. It's a beautiful story worth reading.

I started to read this just now, but it is so freaking hard to understand what the subordinate is saying. I'm not an Eglish native speaker so the ways he talks is like torture for me... I'm don't know if I'll be able to carry on...
