Because she is basically a child herself. Yes she has the mindset of a 27 year old but it will be weird if she was dating an adult since her physical appearance is 5 years old. They got reincarnated so she not 27 she is 5 so she has to act like a 5 year old and be with children her age.

What confusing about it? She is 5 she is a child herself. There a difference between mentally and physically. If she was physically 27 but mentally 5 then she would be seen as having a ddlg kink or just mentally ill. But since she is physically 5 and mentally 27 she just seem more mature. And she have the hormones of a child. Even in real life sometimes in school you could hear an adult say that a child mentally acts older then their age. Its not weird for her to think the kid was cute.
