Really, I think the clothes are kinda cool. But my fashion sense is not the best. Though, I think the they are supposed to be custome-like, to make her stand out. She basically putting on a show. That's how I saw it. (⌒▽⌒)
Her clothes are alright, mayby you are not used to historical European fashion
i think her clothes are suppose to be weird, unusual or avant garde. To ensure that no one can guess her origin of location or to simply make her look as foreign as possible.
It’s an interesting premise, but I can’t quite get into it that well. Ebony’s “Raven” clothes also pull me out of the story occasionally since I find them to be a lot like a tacky low quality Halloween costume, and it’s a bit hard to take her and people’s reactions to her seriously when she’s wearing them. I’ll probably wait for more chapters before binge reading it again.
