Josei heroines

I don’t understand why so many mc of Josei who are in their 30s act like dumb teenagers, especially when it comes to love. This is kind of grostesque

(Is there an explanation ? A social one maybe ? I genuinely ask myself the question)

Same. I think it's become an archetype at this point. I can only blame the authors for not being able to create mature female characters. Maybe this one's different?

Thank you, I’m going to have a look. (The title sounded familiar to me, it’s because I heard about the novel whose the manga is adapted from)

josei authors grew up on dumb shojo heroines and naturally they want to age up protagonists in their works to match the authors age, but they haven't adjusted the maturity level to match

Yooooo this recommendation was great. I ended it up bingeing it and enjoying it all. It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a historical josei story this much. I think I may even take up reading the novel.
