My take is Kouhei didn't understand and recognize his feelings as love. That's why he probably dismissed them and chose to live the expected, 'normal' life. However, once married, things didn't work out so they got divorced. Most people find it hard to recognize and admit love so I can see why things panned out the way they did.
Honestly Im kinda curious of the seme's side of story..he loves him from the start? So why'd he got married and hav a child?..was the wife used like the senpai?...still I'm happy for them♡
