I can't really blame the king for being so extreme. If I were in his position, everything she would have done would make me react the same. And our FL were taught all of those things, of course she would come of suspicious.
I do blame the king tho. Cause we know he's just doing this to be an ass. Never took her serious. If it was me I'd be more cautious since there is a dragon that could do whatever, instead of trying to kill his wife.
Yeah, she just stormed into his country like she owns it, of course he is mad and have every right to act like an ass XD Yes he could have been nicer but still a lot of other rulers would have executed her. He thought she was there to take his life. He could not be expected to understand everything she wanted him to, and from the fl side there was a looooot to do.
Also how would he know about the dragon? He said so himself, he didn't believe it was true. The fl acted strangely too.
He should have been cautious about the dragon. Magic exists so why not be cautious about that? No, the king didnt really think she was there to fake his life. He was just being an ass. The magic dude is just evil. Wants to kill Chris and become the king's favorite. Also, pretty sure sent a letter before or tried to.
Nobody believed there was a dragon tho, it was mentioned in the earlier chapters if I'm not wrong. Also, it would be insain to assum that after years of not showing up, just cause some girl - that doesnt seem like she is in her best mental state tbh after everything she ever worked for was taken away from her - the dragon is actually out there.
And I agree, I think the magic dude is evil, and the king is an ass, but thats not the point. My point is not that they are not evil, is that they had a very reasonable reason to act like that.
It's just that the main leads act kind of dumb, and when other people act in a way which is axpected, they are going full on suprised picachu face. So it's like "well, duh"".
I agree that they were dumb and the reaction was somewhat reasonable, but it was pretty stupid as well. The dragon was a myth yea but they should have been more cautious. She did not give off being mentally unstable in the least. She looked like she had her shir together and was extremely calm.
I think it's easy to say that they shouldve been more cautious when we saw the same dragon for chapters on end, but if we were requested to suddenly believe a myth, I honestly would have taken a lot of time.
And visually yes, she didn't seem like she was unstable, but she kept on talking about unreasonable things - from the point of view of the people who heard her - and her only proof was suspicious.
Anyway I think everyone had a hand in what happened, it's just frustrating to me that the fl is being saved acting all miserable and coming off as the tourtured (i hope i'm spelling it right XD) misunderstood character when she knew and could have done muchhhhh better. She went through this education her entire life, she is in charge of polotics now, and this is just aint it.
No, I would have been extremely cautious since someone supposedly came back from the dead and talked about a dragon. I would have liked to see in person proof of the dragon not try and kill her immediately. She was calm, suspicious, but clearly calm. I don't know what unreasonable things you're talking about, could you mention them? I also find it frustrating that she keeps getting saved but she was a tortured character that is doing better now. She did go about it wrong, but I think the king just wanted to kill and humiliate her.
She was presumed dead, not actually found dead. They just knew she went somewhere and now she's back. And her being alive is actually helping more with the argument that the dragon doesn't exist.
And the unreasonable things - breaking into the country with no proof/backup/almost anything to make her seem credible. The unwillingless to understand when people around her didn't believe her after she did all of that, and the plan itself. That was dumb as hell.
And yeah I guess the king didn't like her but again I can't seem to blame him when she acted so baddd. Even a decent king would have at least jailed her.
They knew that she went to sacrifice herself. They all thought she was dead until Chris said otherwise. She was always a rational and honest person when she was there so they shohld have at least taken her words into consideration.
She had the scale and came on a fucking dragon. She wasn't attacking. They attacked, she didn't even defend herself. The plan was risky and kind of stupid, but it was one of their best shots tho it did go wrong.
She didnt act bad at all. She was respectful and calm the entire time. I could understand placing the person in confinement but killing them, that's a bit much. It was clear there were no intentions to harm as she even said not to touch the scale. Evertone here was just being dicks.
I think we have different perspectives about it and i appriciate the calm debate but we're going nowhere XD
