He probably thought she was doing it for power and didn’t realize until the end that she was just a pawn in it all. I think, if anything, he felt like a complete failure when he saw her sacrificing herself, even if he knew what she was doing it for. In the end, he couldn’t protect anyone, not even the girl who had a huge role in the empire’s ruin. He was a failure to the bitter end.

Hehe he likes her. I wonder what he thought about her in her past life. He was kind to her in the end even when she had ruined his and everyone else's life. I wonder if he respected her or didn't think about her at all or thought it was a shame she wasn't on his side?
