The MC is a prick for that he didn't need to treat her like that just because his pride got hurt. One thing with these types of stories i never understand is why r the MCs so entitled? The both of u were betrothed to each other when young on the premise that both parties will produce worthy heirs while she is exceptional he has failed miserably so why should she lower herself and her future for him? Its like she passed her gcses with all As and he failed everything didn't even pass his maths and English heck he cant even read and write or count that is literally what failing to awaken is equivalent to. Honestly I dont even think the family was 100% wrong either i mean up until this point his family treated him well yes?
