Yeah i knew it, you will never research and just rely on what you have read on facebook, maybe from die-hard Duterte supporters (DDS). This is from inquirer, since you can’t be bothered to research about the ... hwangjanim

Let me add something because I feel like you won’t research about it since you are so blinded with the light of the government that you are looking at. ”The committee found that ABS-CBN was “undeserving” of renewal even though hearings found that the broadcaster had not violated any legal provisions under its previous 25-year franchise“
    Okay, read it again but s l o w l y.

Agreed. In the first place, if they actually cared more about their employees, then they would've tried their hardest to pay off their debts and pay their taxes. They would've ensured that their company was sin... MsPurplePoison

Here again, just to do the research for you.
If we’re talking about debts. Let me tell you about the debts of the government that will be paid by the taxpayers (⌒▽⌒) This is from CNN, since you want transparency, “ The Philippines' total debt load has grown to ₱8.89 trillion in May as authorities borrowed aggressively to fund programs aimed at easing the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Bureau of the Treasury reported Tuesday that total loans moved closer to ₱9 trillion, growing by 12.3 percent or ₱975.2 billion compared to May 2019. The figure also rose from April's ₱8.6 trillion level.

The Treasury said the spike is due to "increased reliance" on raising money through bond issuances as well as foreign loans as the state had to secure additional funds to support COVID-19 response measures, given a sharp drop in tax collections during the weeks under lockdown.”
Aaand you can’t say that this information is not true because the media is manipulating it or whatever because they can’t really post false information since officials can press charges if this is proven to be fake news.

Alright. I'm feeling a bit tired of this but I mean no disrespect. I have already said so but I do know that debates don't really change the opinions of each other. I can provide more research to back up my claims, but I'm not really enthusiastic about this now because I the ice cream I tried to make by whipping 'whipping cream' for 3 hours didn't taste good.

Another thing, even tho that's the case, I still gained more knowledge about the topic, and although I have no will to do so right now, I know how I can explain my side with even more solid evidences and research next time. Even thoigh you haven't changed my opinion, you still helped me gain more insight and I thank you for that. I also think that it's good that there are still Filipinos like us that are trying to think about our country's situations and issues. Although we are pushing for different sides, I think we have a lot to learn from each other. Shame that I didn't really provide more from my side, sorry about that.

I don't really intend to reply to this thread with arguments anymore but I do hope that people who read the previous replies have gained underatanding of the issue. I may have more to say but I don't really have the motivation to do so because I know I can't really convince the other party. Also, I'm only 14 so if you think I'm still immature, that's also fine. I accept that flaw and will strive to do better and become wiser with age. Hope y'all have a good day.

I actually know that you’re really young based on your dp and it’s also the reason why I kept on commenting here because I really want you to be more informed. I’m eight years older than you. I’m already working and just the thought of losing a job during this pandemic is truly a nightmare. It just sucks that a lot of people are living that nightmare because of the non renewal of the franchise. I hope you can watch this video if you’re really willing to learn more, https://youtu.be/pAj7iiiNmn8
If you can’t click it, it’s Janina Vela’s latest video on youtube. (︶︿︶)=凸
