I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about how Yuki is toxic and manipulative for killing himself instead of talking things out with Mafuyu. I feel like most of them haven’t read the manga because in the manga it’s obvious that Yuki had depression and he’s been contemplating suicide even before their argument (even when they went to the beach he knew that in a year from then Mafuyu wouldn’t be coming back to that beach with him). It’s not a matter of “talking things out” it’s much more harder and deeper than that and no matter what it is blaming and making Yuki the villain for having depression and suicidal is fucked up. Also I know Ue doesn’t know the full history about Yuki and it’s not completely his fault I feel like both him and mafuyu can communicate more because it’s obvious that mafuyu is anxious about their relationship due to his past
agree! it's a good story because it's more real, someone in Mafuyu's position wouldn't just talk about it so casually, and I'm reading to know how will they go through it, the trauma will not go away with some smooches ಠ_ಠ
