Right, and plus they both met when they were both legal adults. I’d understand if it was the type where cliff was like “I’ll wait for you to become legal” cause those types of relationships are iffy to me personally. But I’m pretty sure cliff is in his 40s and Ed is in his 20s? I could be wrong but they’re both legal so i don’t see a problem.
The artist did an end of season chapter where she shows the ages. It showed that Cliff is 37 and Edward is 25. It's chapter 57.1 if you want to take a look.
