that type of thinking invalidates all step sibling. you’re basically saying step sibling are not valid and will never be real siblings. that’s what i was trying to say in the post that their relationship invalidates step siblings which is extremely toxic to people who are in thats situation smh even if it’s legal it is morally wrong

But it doesn't work like that. Like exceptions don't invalidate in the whole conception of step siblings?
I don't understand how it's morally wrong. If they grew up together. Then yes it would be incestuous. But they met when they were 15 and 16 and never thought about each other as real brothers. Their parents' marriage didn't last even 3 years. Years passed after divorce. I seriously don't grasp how it's morally wrong. Some people after divorce would want to keep their step siblings bond and some wouldn't care or even wouldn't want to because of many reasons and would move on and would treat each other as strangers.
So if someone's parents were together for 3 months and then divorced.... Their children barely came to know each other? They are siblings for life? I have to say I don't understand such logic.

it’s the fact that the boundary has been established and despite that they still had a relationship. if you knew you were going to get a step sibling you would not try to make moves on them. that’s just wrong. even if you guy are no longer siblings the perception is still there, youre experience with them is still there. you can’t treat them like a completely different person just bc you are no longer siblings the experience is still there, the connotation is still there.
also yes supporting their relationship does invalidate step siblings. your argument is that just because they are not actually related it’s okay for them to have a relationship. thus invalidating that step sibling can have a bond like another siblings can.

Sorry. If they are two consensual adults. And they've never seen each other that way. They didn't grow up together. They are not related by blood. There was no psychological bond of siblings between them. And they aren't family for years. It's completely legal. I don't see bigger problem. Sorry.
For me your argument doesn't make bigger sense. If I'm morally wrong, be it. I think there are bigger problems in the world that two adults who are not blood related, who didn't grow up together, who are not even family by law choosing to be together.

yup sorry but that’s pretty weird to me...
they knew they were siblings/ going to become siblings... thats just weird to start developing feelings for someone is supposed to be your brother?????? doesnt that make sense ???? like he’s supposed to be your brother ???? why would you pursue anything more?
anyway “there are bigger problems in the world” well yeah i know that???? i just wanted to talk abt a flaw in the story that i found? it’s my personal opinion! im fine with having a reasonable conversation but don’t try to pull that card on me ://// the comment section is for readers to state their opinions and talk abt the story if you don’t like my opinion just down vote and move on instead of trying to demean my opinion by saying there are “bigger problems in the world”

Ok sorry maybe I worded it wrongly. It wasn't my purpose to demean your opinion.
I meant for me even irl it wouldn't have been such a big deal because there are for me bigger problems in the world. But of course everyone has different values. And that's ok!
I think it's hard to control feelings. I doubt they did it with premeditation. But the feelings appeared... And that's how it is. Imo.
i still don’t like joowon... even though in the beginning when they were in hs his feelings were pure he’s still forced himself onto heesu, it’s just plain wrong. plus they were siblings. idk how joowon or heesu thought it was okay to see eachother even though they are not related. their relationship completely invalidates step sibling relationships and furthers the narrative that step siblings will never be real siblings. i just can’t get behind it
