Warning: i dont know and haven't read the original work but ive read and heard spoilers from some people who have. Can NOT confirm them but some seem pretty legit. Still cant say.

Elzay is Aseph's destined partner. Aseph does not have the seal because his soul is corrupted, so Elzay is carrying both of their seals. With time and some events aseph manages to overcome the corruption of his soul and does eventually get the seal. they end up happily married with three children (2 older boys and a girl i think)
Theres some drama because Elissa is the destined partner of the crown prince. and the crown prince confuses Elzay to be his destined partner. not sure how that works out with it gets resolved.

The demon thing that turned up behind elzay grabs her arm and injures it pretty badly. Aseph arrived sword in hand and managed to save her but barely and the crown prince turned up shortly afterwards. The crown prince manages to heal Elzay's arm after that. We also get to see the pink seal on his hand. In the chapter after that the crown prince manages to meet elissa and not sure what the situation was, it looked like he was helping her get up and you can see the pink seal on her hand aswell
