if you mean the mother I don't think the guardian has ever talk to her and the fact that the guardian could't protect then when they were with their mother has something to do with the father cause the guardian can talk with him but hasn't show himself in front of the kids

no I think the deal was made with the father or the father did something cause you know he thought Arien and Arjen were dead already and he didn't care and what could that women even give to the guardian she didn't have nothing just selling her body off and that's all (︶︿︶)

something is wrong about the guardian is a spell trapping him that he cannot protect Arjen and Arien that well? cause if he could then he would had protected then from that bloodthirst magic
