yea I agree, it feels wrong to have a kid with absolutely no adult life experience date/marry a grown ass man.
She could so easily be a college freshman, then she would still be considered young but an adult.
In the west most graduates are 17-18 yo and go on to either work or college. I never understood the underage til’ 20 thing in Japan.
I honestly don't fkn care that they have a age gap but why tf does she have to be in Highschool. Lik please. The author could've atleast tried to inch her age towards 20 or above. It's just weird thinking someone who is 17 and in first year of high school should date / be in a romantic relationship with a 29 year old.
