Maybe emotional attachement
There can be a difference between sexual attraction, and emotional attraction. In other words, you can love someone but you don't like them sexually. Look up Freddie Mercury and his ex-common-in-law wife, Mary Austin, for a real life example.
I don't get what Mr Fahrenheit is trying to say with this "a type of 'like' where you can't get hard"... You mean like friendship, bro?? Lmao, if the MC doesn't have sexual or romantic feelings towards her, then what other kind of "like" is Mr Fahrenheit taking about?
Can hardly even tell if MC even likes her as a friend, since it seems like he's barely tolerating her most of the time.
