eah....I think it just comes down to preference. I've read both and ultimately one's a short story and one's a long story. each has their own draw backs and strengths.
Ya I agree. One is a one shot so it doesn't end up with a lot of cliches but even as a one shot it is full of tropes that can be seen in other manga. Since pochanami is longer it's able to go deeper into Mugi's insecurities and it raises the question of does she like Tagami simply because he likes her or is there something more.
And yet many of us think these are enjoyable characters and a sweet, sometimes funny, sometimes angsty love story that fits our taste.
It's fine to recommend though. Thanks.
I'd recommend Shorty and Chubby are in Love, but not this. This story is nothing more than the typical, run-of-the-mill, clichéd story pressing all the usual annoying buttons.
