Ya I agree. One is a one shot so it doesn't end up with a lot of cliches but even as a one shot it is full of tropes that can be seen in other manga. Since pochanami is longer it's able to go deeper into Mugi's insecurities and it raises the question of does she like Tagami simply because he likes her or is there something more.
I'd recommend Shorty and Chubby are in Love, but not this. This story is nothing more than the typical, run-of-the-mill, clichéd story pressing all the usual annoying buttons.
