What?? A promo is a piece of advertisement, ya know, to get people interested in the product someone is offering. So why get someone interested in the product that you're not offering? Personally, I continued reading cuz it looked nice, not because it has the same storyline as every other reincarnation story and you're kidding yourself if you don't recognize the STEEP drop in quality.

To be more precise, the people who drew the promo are not the same people who decided to pick it up. Promos are supposed to give a brief overview, and that’s what the past art style fit. If the entire thing was drawn trying to imitate their style it would looked awkward/forced and wouldn’t go well with actually pacing.

yea and now it looks cheap. It's fine if you don't care about art style but the only reason I saved this story was because of how it looked. The art style is a part of the overall product. What if you watched a Disney trailer and when you went to see the movie it had lower quality animation, like some kind of knock-off? Most people would feel cheated.
Obviously, in this situation it's not a big deal since none of us are paying for it, but it's still shady.
I think both art styles are beautiful, but I guess some people have different opinions. I think the current one fits the mood better. Yes the promo one is nice, but that’s what it is, a promo. If the whole thing was drawn like that then it would change the mood
