Mom has nothing to do with sex it just so happens that the majority of animals that give birth are female so it's associated with females. However, Mom means the one who gave birth to you! That’s why children DON’T call their aunties, sisters, females teachers etc Mom because even though they are female they did not birth them. That’s why adopted kids are not obligated to call their female adoptees Mom either cause they’re technically not their mothers. So if a man was to give birth they would technically be the child’s mom!
you comments makes no sense. if a adopted child is forced to call they female parent mom and not his male parent even if is a gay couple or a single father, it means the word is for females. it have nothing to do with who gave birth to you. is a word to identify the gender in a job that have male and female. pretty much like a king and queen.
Then what would you call a male who gives births? Dad’s don’t give birth! So calling them that won’t make sense. How would they differentiate who gave birth between the couple? I watched a documentary on how male seahorses give birth to their little seahorse eggs and they were coined “Mr Moms” in the documentary. They’re one of the only two males on earth capable of giving birth. They even used the term “mothered” to describe the male seahorses laying their eggs! The same would apply in the omega verse! Also, by omegaverse law Omegas have a womb just like women do, they’re have both attributes of a male and female why would you want them to adopt titles only associated with men when their bodies are half male and female?

there are trans men who have given birth. there are also people who have given birth, and then realized they identify as men. a child would not still call that person their mom, because "mom" is a gendered term. trans men do not want to be called mom. if you want to be super pedantic about it, google "mother definition" and you will see that today it literally just means a woman that is raising children, whether or not they're her own, that's it. to reiterate, the people arguing that mom = someone that gives birth are transphobic. it's 2020, you should know better.

However, Omegas are an independent sex, their situation is completely different from transsexuals. In case you don’t know, they are one of the 3 sexes in the omegaverse, thier constitution being both female and male! Because of that they borrow both attributes of male and female, pronouns included unlike transsexuals who completely forgo their previous sex!
