hi! sorry to intrude but the author did acknowledge that he did rape him in the first one! if u look at the author’s note, someone asks “did jihyun and chiwoo do it?” and they do admit they have done it. which, judging by their relationship (where chiwoo is frighten by jihyun, who assaulted him), was not consensual!
No no its okay and that's really confusing cause no where in the manga did it show that he raped him other than being close to doing it that one time but beat him up instead so we see chiwoo passed put from his injuries on the table. As for him being scared well thats given considering how unpredictable jihyun is and how easily he can snap. Also thank you for clarifying the authors intentions because it really wasnt clear in the manga

It’s weird cuz If the ending was different and chiwoo had completely forgave him for the rape, I would be slightly annoyed thinking “oh great another cliche yaoi blah blah”, because it would be unrealistic, right?
But now..for some reason I actually feel fucking sympathy for the guy. He was unhealthy and abusive. But seeing him cry while driving away did break my heart. And the parallel universe chapter was kind of hard to read because I can’t help but wish that something like that did happen lol
The author did a great job though. It was a good read.
