I agree with you very much... If they would not be able to solve their coldness/indifference better yet they shouldn't get married... But ofcourse will never know what chabges would happen in the future chapters but basically the MC is already been hurt and she is so suspicious of the relationship they had.. Infact for those who think she isn't making effort you could see that she is actually.. The fact that she is bothred that they only contact and have dinner or whatever and doesn't seem like they are trying to fall inlove rather she sees it like the repetition of her parents relationship.. She is so shattered inside to the point that she asks her mother if she hates her and if she ever loved her in the first place...

I'm not saying I hate ML I love him very much because you can tell he truly is a good person but his attitude his nonsensical. For him to suddenly treat her coldly and act like this is all business because he thinks she MIGHT have feelings for her friend is kind of ridiculous? He talks about wanting to make an effort but shutting her out like this is not gonna work. The guy she is worried about is in a relationship and she definitely isn't the type of person to want to steal her friends boyfriend and he should be able to tell that much. I mean I get he's jealous but if he cares about her he should idk make an effort to at least become close to her amicabley and maybe along the way they can fall for each other. They are strangers with a baby. He seems determined to marry her and live with her so they can raise the baby together but what kind of environment is he leaving his kid in by creating this cold distance between them? What kid would want to see their parents being distant and clearly indifferent/cold towards each other? It's like they might as well not be married. My parents are married and definitely shouldn't be lol it is hell to live in atmosphere where you feel your parents don't care for each other and you SEE the distance between them. You know the kind of mindset that builds for you? It seriously makes you question love and marriage and is not healthy. There is no point in marriage if they do not love each other so hopefully he realizes this and tries to build that kind of relationship with her. And people saying FL isn't trying? Maybe but you forget she didn't want to do this in the first place but she wants to try i agree she should try to convey her feelings who knows maybe next chapter she will. But after what happened with her parents you can see why she is the way she is. He pulled a 180 on her when she was already reluctant with this situation in the first place. How can she open up to him when she already believes things like this won't work and then added bonus he's acting so cold to her? She has issues so idk maybe be more understanding? They're both extremely mature so they will work this out
