I'd say that's correct up to a 50%, but still there's the other 50% where the uke has his own role in this mess, because he didn't confront the seme and *tell* him what his grievances were, until very recently. And that alone made him cause himself a lot of grief. Ever since his confession, he'd been too scared to say exactly what was bothering him and that's not a good idea because, like the seme's friend said, making relationships work means being humble yet brave, in other words being prepared to swallow your pride and your fears and doubts in order to express what you feel and think as clearly as possible, without taking it for granted that the other person knows what you're thinking.
- He doesn't get carried away by sweet talk and emotions
- He doesn't delude himself into thinking the seme liked him when they started
- He makes decisions that he knows hurts the seme as little revenge
- He is aware that he is not being treated well
- He has a shit ton of self respect and dignity (when homeboy left him I CHEERED)
