A Christian Denomination called Iglesia ni Cristo. I mean not all cults have to isolate themselves from everybody. I call it a cult because you can't question the leaders and ministers, you just have to trust them since a lot of people here lack a faculty of critical thinking and rationalizing. That's why Christianity have a lot of denominations because you can interpret or rather distort what is said on the Bible, you just have to be a charismatic person and then you can build a cult. And there's this huge controversy that happened in 2015, but the police and politicians didn't even bother checking it out cause they were bribed. I want to elaborate more of it, and how funny they distorted the bible, but I'll just leave it at that. Really, if you just read the bible and check out the origin and history of it then you'll turn irreligious/atheist/deist/agnostic.

Thanks for telling me, all I ever encounter are Jehovias witnesses or Hare Krishna :D. I am actually from the second most atheist country in the world, if we take it up by the numbers.
If I should ever start believe in something I would be pagan as hell. It's fun having gods for almost anything and it's way more belivable than a one guy making up whole world. I always ask the most important question. If Bible was written by persond who was led by god, why there are no kangaroos? Also all I ever read from it was Jesus' childhood by Thomas and man I would not want a bully to be my prophet.

Well Jesus was a Jew who put law in to stone. His followers are called Christians. It's just that people made it in to a religion via the Niceaen Council. There are a lot of gospels, called the gnostic gospels, that aren't included in the Bible. The Council decides what to put, then add like the Holy Trinity, and add some more which are other gospels in the New Testament except for the 4 apostle gospels, when there are 12 apostles (there's even a gospel of Judas). It's too obvious that it'd been altered, duh theocracy, priests ruled before. Not to mention, the Bible is sexist, homophobic, condones slavery and genocide, and that Abrahamic God is so contradicting. It claims that he is omnibenevolent when he has anger issues and keeps on slaughtering innocent people. I'm a deist myself, I don't know what this higher power/s who created everything does, but I'm sure it's far more convincing if "life is a play, the world is a stage, we are the actors, and god is the audience/writer" than the Abrahamic God. You get what I mean?
It's been such a long time since I was truly immersed in a yaoi manga that this just made me cry! Though the translation was wonky at some part, I just love everythin about this! From the storytelling, the dialogues and all the lines, the unique metaphors, the art, and the characters are just written damn well. What makes a story truly amazing and memorable are the emotions you felt while experiencing it, it was immersive, it was funny, it made my heart flutter, and it made me cry! What I love too about historical fiction is the sentimental and melancholic atmosphere it has, not to mention the historical accuracy of this one. Everything about this was just perfect, and I love this Rumspringa concept, still I feel really bad for real Amish folks but then again they are happy since that's all there is to it to their lives. I hate cults, since they brainwash you as a kid, I belong to one, I want to get out but I can't since everyone around me belongs to it, and unfortunately there is an irreligious discrimination and anti-intellectualism here in my country. I don't know why people don't bother to check out the history and origin of their beliefs, they just blindly follow these spoonfed beliefs to them-----rather than decide their own beliefs---, just praying to God without changing anything, lifting their misery, and living because they're not dead yet. It's the case of my grandparents and it's just really pathetic, but I won't elaborate it. But I really do admire people who follow the "true" path of their beliefs wholeheartedly and not doubtingly. Faith truly is beautifully destructive as there is a possibility of acknowledging an illusion of knowledge and happiness, and some people prefer pleasant illusions than unpleasant truths. At this rate I'm jusr ranting... This is probably my fave yaoi of all time.
